Cool Morning in Orlando: Small Craft Advisory Issued for Part of Coast

Residents of Orlando woke up to a cool morning on Tuesday, with temperatures lower than usual for this time of year. Along with the cool weather, a small craft advisory has been issued for part of the coast, specifically off the Brevard County coastline.

The National Weather Service has warned of dangerous rip currents in the area, making it unsafe for small watercraft to be out at sea. The advisory is expected to remain in effect throughout the day, so residents are urged to exercise caution if planning any maritime activities.

This advisory comes as a result of a cold front moving through the region, bringing with it isolated severe thunderstorms further south along the coast. In addition to the small craft advisory, a Coastal Flood Advisory and High Surf Advisory have also been issued for certain areas.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, officials are working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors in the affected areas. It is recommended to stay updated on weather alerts and advisories to avoid any potential risks or hazards.
